"The Widow"
We, as comfortable Americans, greatly dislike sacrifice. Because we are devoted to pleasure, comfort and the absence of pain, asking most Americans to sacrifice is like asking a cat to take a bath. In spite of how we might feel about it, sacrifice is a very important part of our Christian life. Today, as we wrap up our series on Almost Famous, we will look at a woman who understood the principle of sacrifice. No one knows her name, she is only known for her offering, and her state in life. Thank you for joining us as we look at “The widow” found in Luke 21.
